November 10th – ‘Historic Gardens of Derbyshire”

Jeff Bates a well-known landscape and garden design expert will give an illustrated talk looking at the development of some of the finest gardens in Derbyshire including Calke Abbey, Elvaston Castle, Hardwick Hall, Melrose Hall, Chatsworth House and Buxton Pavilion Gardens.

The presentation will be preceded by a short AGM.

9 June: Visit to Michael Bradbury’s Garden.

14 July: Visit to an allotment in Buxton.

8 September: Kate Brophy from Fryer’s Roses – Roses – the basics and beyond.

October 13th “Allotment Question Time” – Following our very successful visit to Cunningdale Allotments in July an opportunity to ask our guest allotment holders any questions you have about allotment holding or growing produce in the garden. (Preceded by a brief AGM)
