WoW…How lucky was we to get a visit from James Ellson for our November talk. We would very much like to thank you for coming out to see us James. James used to be a police officer, starting in London and finishing as a Detective Inspector at Moss Side in Manchester. When he left the police he started writing. After 10 years of trying, his debut novel was published in 2020 – a crime thriller called The Trail (longlisted for the Boardman Tasker Award).The sequel Cold Dawn was published in 2022.
.James lives in the Peak District with his wife and is self-sufficient in fruit and vegetables, they also keep chickens and bees. James passion is fruit trees, especially apples.At the talk you would have heard a pin drop and we were so pleased at the turn out which was incredible x James holds a whip ‘n’ tongue grafting course twice a year and welcomes anyone who is curious to learn this method of propagation.
